Officials said Mohammed Yusuf was shot while trying to escape. They had announced his capture hours earlier."
reminds me of the line in casablanca when the prefect of police tries to decide whether a prisoner, obviously murdered in custody, verbatim "died trying to escape" or not, for his report... |

Passed the Building Inspection part today, only electrical and plumbing left!! Could be moving in Monday!
There has been so much going on with the upcoming shows and a possible other one to announce shortly. Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this. It has been 7 MONTHS and 1 day since the fire. I'm ready to move on... more to follow! |

So I passed the insurance inspection yesterday. Stained the floors a dark red which turned out better than I could have expected... All that's left is the city building inspection so I can get occupancy!! I have a couple of things I have to do for that, but things are definitely in the home stretch. Thank you everyone for your help and support!! |

so tonight was a special night! milwaukee was able to join LA and the only city to have a VNV Nation CD release party with a live interactive link to Ronan. After the LA show, Ronan and Mark joined us live via Skype video for a Q&A session... The show at Turner Hall is already more than 50% sold out with 10 days to go... The turn-out was good but not great, showing what a challenge we have in bringing Milwaukee back to the former days... We will keep trying...

| fun weekend... now the house |

the combichrist show was fun. stoopid fun. there were some issues i need to resolve with the venue, etc, however, it was a great line-up and full of fans! it was wierd not booking the show, which means it didn't go quite the way i would do it, however, i cannot complain. seeing bands here that i just saw at WGT is always a neat experience, especially in little milwaukee..
almost done with he bathroom tile ast the house and installed the toilet :D that's a big step. all this finish work is taking much longer then expected, however, we're so close! 5 months on couches and in guest rooms is wearing on me. going to ikea today to try and get a sink that i want that has been out of stock of weeks... today's the last chance otherwise it's going to be a HOBO sink. eek! |
